Abstract: Em sete sessões, entre março e maio de 1970, nos mesmos estúdios Van Gelder, Tom gravou simultaneamente dois LPs para o novo selo de Creed Taylor, CTI-A&R: Tide e Stone flower, com arranjos de Eumir Deodato, e alguns músicos brasileiros como Hermeto Pascoal, o baterista João Palma e os percussionistas Airto Moreira e Everaldo Ferreira, entre os instrumentistas.
